Vu chez Voodoo Extreme, 3D Realms, le développeur du vaporware Duke Nukem 3D a annoncé un semblant de date de sortie pour Prey :

" With Prey's history, we wouldn't be surprised if there are further problems. What we saw was polished, professional, and exciting, presenting familiar elements of a familiar genre in innovative and unusual ways; yet we were told it needed another nine months. However, this time, it's being developed out of 3D Realms' personal grasp. So, at last, the hunt for this Prey is coming to an end."

En gros ils s'accordent 9 mois supplémentaires pour finir Prey, ce qui confirme la date déja annoncée : "2006".
